Who doesn't love biting into a messy, juicy Sloppy Joe sandwich? We've added in a healthy variety of garden fresh Harmony House vegetables for a new twist on an old classic. Our extra crisp green and red bell peppers add a refreshing sweetness that your family is sure to love!
Serve our Italian style version on a freshly toasted ciabatta bun, top with gooey, melted mozzarella cheese, and add an extra spoonful of chunky marinara sauce for the ultimate experience. In the mood for something a little spicier? Add a few pickled peperocini or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes on top!

What you'll need:
- 4 cups of cooked black beans
- 1 cup of Harmony House Mixed Bell Peppers
- 1/2 cup Harmony House Sweet Shallots
- 2 Tbsp. Harmony House Tomato Powder
- 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 8 ciabatta rolls or buns
Instructions:
Step 1: Add peppers and onions to a large pot over medium-high heat with a little olive oil.
Step 2: Stir, then add 1 cup water, ketchup and garlic.
Step 3: Stir to combine, then add all seasonings and beans.
Step 4: Cover and simmer over medium-low heat, about 20 minutes.
Step 5: Spoon mixture onto hot, toasted buns for the most delicious results!
