GP1 Features and Specifications
GERMAN INNOVATION: Developed in-house in Koblenz Germany by designers, ergonomic scientists and engineers who are passionate about cycling… just like you.
WINGED SHAPE: Reduces overall pressure on the hands and the ulnar nerve area while supporting the wrist in a comfortable, ergonomically ideal position. GP Series grips eliminate hand pain, numb fingers, sore wrists and forearms.
FORGED ALUMINUM CLAMP: Allows the grip angle to be adjusted for a custom fit. Can be easily readjusted as needed. Clamp eliminates twisting once tightened.
CARBON BAR COMPATIBLE: Use with all MTB handlebars including carbon bars.
22.2 DIAMETER: Fit standard MTB bar diameter at the grip mounting area.
FOR SHIFTER TYPES:
- Standard Trigger Shifters: Right and Left grips are long.
- Gripshift/Dual Twist Shifters: Right and Left grips are shortened.
- Rohloff / Nexus / XX1 / Single Twist Shifters: Right grip is shortened and Left is long.

SOLUTION: Full Hand Contact
Ergon grips offer 100% contact with the hand surface area, versus traditional round grips, offer only 60% contact.
Problem: Hand & Forearm Pain
Excessive curvature of the wrist leads to undesired kinks in the carpal tunnel nerve resulting in a burning pain in the hand or forearm.
SOLUTION: Hand Position
By correcting the hand position, the carpal tunnel nerve is relieved and pain is eliminated.
