Bohning’s Small Throat Blazer Pin Nock fits shafts with an ID of .106” (2.69mm). This Nock is suitable for most recurve bow strings and is conveniently marked with the letter “R” for easy identification. Each Small Throat Blazer Pin Nock weighs an average of 5 grains (324mg).

Tech tip: DO NOT use excessive force to install the pin nock onto the adapter as this could cause cracks in the nock and lead to nock failure.

Always inspect your nocks before every shot! The smallest crack in your nock can lead to a major failure on your next shot, resulting harm to you and damage to your equipment. NOT ALL BRANDS OF NOCKS ARE CREATED EQUAL

At Bohning, every nock style must pass the following steps before introduction to the market:

1. Computer simulations identify potential weak points.
2. Destructive testing methods expose possible design flaws or material defects.
3. Accelerated life cycle testing using a custom-built bow is performed at kinetic energy levels exceeding 110 ft-lbs. (nearly twice that of most hunting bows). A single nock must withstand over 1000 shots or it goes back to step 1.
